ABOUT ABOUT

We are proud to announce the Black Iftar Gala is in its second annual year, and you're all invited!
Black Iftar was created to hold a space that nurtures and heals those who strive to get closer to the deen (religion), but find limitations and exclusions along the way. Muslim or not, Black or not, everyone is welcome & encouraged to come.

Proceeds cover Gala expenses. Remainder will be donated to Embrace - A Project of ICNA (Houston Chapter). A fairly new non-profit organization to help new Muslims transition into the larger Islamic community.
Ways you can help?! Support by purchasing a ticket for you or sponsoring someone who may not be able to afford it, donate to Gala expenses, or choose one of the sponsorship levels (ask for more details).
